Picnic Gone Wrong: Couple rescued at Ravi

A couple was rescued on Friday after they had slipped and fallen into River Ravi. Police identified the couple as Islamul Din, 60, and Zubeda, 50. They said the two had gone to a park along the bank of River Ravi. Witnesses reported that the couple had slipped and fallen into the water. A Rescue 1122 team had reached the scene and rescued the couple. They were reported to be fine after administration of first aid.
