MIRPUR:
Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid has said that every brick used in development projects in Pakistan carries the name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing PML-N workers at Islamgarh late Sunday night, the minister said from Peshawar to Lahore and Gwadar to Khunjrab all the highway projects have been envisioned and built by Nawaz Sharif.

“Now a motorway is being built from Lahore to Karachi the credit for which goes to none other than Nawaz Sharif,” he said, adding nobody could point a finger on the transparency of energy projects and motorway construction.

Pervaiz Rashid said the AJK people should use their right to franchise justly. AJK PM Chaudhry Abdul Majeed should accept his defeat against PML-N candidate Nazir Inquilabi as every voter on July 21 will stamp the PML-N symbol of 'Tiger' on the ballot paper. The confidence reposed by the people of Mirpur and whole AJK in the PML-N would be acknowledged, he added.

He said the sacrifices of Mirpur people were unmatched, but they had been kept deprived of basic facilities such as electricity, gas, jobs and education.

He said they had to leave their lands first for building of the Mangla Dam and then its upraising. The dam was playing an important role in the development of Pakistan and every Pakistani should be thankful to the Mirpur people.
