Cheaters caught red-handed

MULTAN: Students were caught openly cheating on video  in a B-Tech examination held at a centre in Multan.

Exclusive Express News footage showed that the exam invigilators were present but did not pay attention to the ongoing cheating. In some instances, it seemed that the invigilators were abetting students in cheating. The footage also shows student bribing the superintendents.

Acts like these have plagued the education system for decades, with students aiming to earn a 'legitimate' degree, without having to resort to purchasing a fake degree.

Muhammad Ilyas Khan | 13 years ago | Reply This is nothing new. This is a perennial and pervassive problem a manifestation of the completely failed system of education. In order to deal with the issue on strategic basis and to uproot and not just check the problem of cheating in exams we need to overhaul the whole system of evaluation/examination and that is not possible till we bring in fundamental changes in our education right from the school level to the university level. All of this means an overwhelming commitment to education on the level of the state and the society.
