Damages Sought: Tailor gets sued for ‘bad stitching’

LAHORE:

A consumer court issued a notice to a tailor on Saturday over a Rs500,000 suit filed against him. Muhammad Saeed submitted that he had handed over a piece of cloth to Haji Sadiq, proprietor of a tailor’s shop in Shahdara, for stitching two shalwar kamees suits. He said the tailor had not stitched the suits properly. He requested the court to direct Sadiq to pay him Rs500,000 in damages.
