Targeted: FRP constable gunned down in DI Khan

The police shifted his remains to the hospital for an autopsy

DI KHAN: A constable of the Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) was gunned down in Madina Colony, DI Khan on Thursday. An official of Cantt police station told The Express Tribune 30-year-old Shahzeb Mehsud was serving in FRP as a constable and belonged to the Mehsud tribe. “On Thursday, he left his house for some work when unidentified armed men opened fire on him,” he said. “The assailants managed to flee the site.” As a result, Shahzeb was killed on the spot. The police shifted his remains to the hospital for an autopsy. Soon after the incident, security was tightened in the region.
