Staving off a crisis: Security tightened across city

PESHAWAR: The police and security forces have tightened security across the province ahead of Jumatul Wida (the last Friday of Ramazan), stated a press release issued on Thursday. “The police were asked to deploy special units in different areas of the city on Jumatul Wida,” the statement added. Security agencies were also asked to take appropriate steps as Youm-ul-Quds.
