Search operation: Five suspects held

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies on Tuesday conducted search operations in various areas falling in the limits of Bhara Kahu Police Station and arrested five suspects besides recovering a cache of weapons from them, a police source said.

According to details, officials of Islamabad Police, Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas including Dhok Jilani, Madina Town, Athal and its adjacent areas.

During the search operation five suspects were arrested and more than 300 houses were searched.

Police recovered arms and ammunition from the nabbed persons and shifted them to the local police station for further investigation.
