Hangu court’s verdict: Altaf declared proclaimed offender
Altaf has been involved in criminal activities for a long time and has been a foreign agent against the country
HANGU:
The court of additional session judge has declared Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain a “proclaimed offender” over accusations of treason. Karbogha Shareef tehsil councillor Hafiz Sultan Muhammad had registered a case against Altaf over charges of treason, holding him responsible for criminal activities in the country. While speaking to the media, Hafiz Sultan said the court’s decision was a “historical win” for the country. “Altaf has been involved in illegal criminal activities for a long time and has been a foreign agent against the country,” he said. He added now is the time when he must be taken to task. The complainant registered an FIR on June 15 in Doaba police station, Hangu. Subsequently the court of additional session judge passed a verdict on the case.
