Sarwar will kick off the season with the Sodi World Series Sprint Racing Master Cup, RX250 from February 18 followed by the UAE motorsports championship. He will end the season in December with the Asian Championship of Rotax Max Kart in Dubai.
“I was disappointed for the future of motorsports,” Sarwar told The Express Tribune. “But since 2010 things have appeared to be getting better in the country.
“It is really impossible what we have achieved. Last year we had one sponsor supporting us but now we have the support of two more sponsors for the 2011 season,” added Sarwar.
With his mounting success, Sarwar was offered a drive in the Formula Rolon racing series in India. The racer, who finished fourth at the World Series Karting race in Dubai last year, first drove for Xtreme Velcoity Racing, a Pakistan team competing in the 24-hour race in Dubai. He also attended the Asian Racing Team Formula Renault Racing School and was given the opportunity to test for A1 Team Pakistan at the Zhuhai International Circuit, China in 2007 using Formula Renault 2.0.
