MULTAN:

The Prime Minister's brother - Ahmad Mujtaba Gilani - has been accused of excessive use of government resources in his election campaign on Thursday.

Mujtaba Gilani is contesting the by-polls in PP 206.

His opponent Naghma Mushtaq Lang has accused him of using dozens of police vehicles, a fire brigade - as well as Rescue 1122 staff - in his rally from Multan to Jalalpur Pirwala.

The Prime Minister's brother has denied the allegation, saying he only used his personal security in the rally.

Dewan Haider | 13 years ago | Reply masses have lost the value and ownership of their vote .... mass believes that their vote belong to certain "who is who of the area" and not to them ..... until-unless the lay person reclaim the ownership of their vote and going forward express it justly without any negative repercussions ..... we are bound to stay in this political stalemate. Secondly, use of state recourses is an issue but it will not change unless until the psyche and security of the society changes.
