Anger: Man kills ‘quarrelsome’ wife

BAHAWALPUR: A man killed his wife on Saturday night in Rahim Yar Khan and later gave himself up to the police. Rasool Bakhsh, a resident of Golani village, near Rahim Yar Khan, had had an argument with his wife Azeem Mai on Saturday night. He hit her with a spade several times and killed her, police said. He then went to the police and confessed to the murder. He handed over the murder weapon as well. Bakhsh said that his wife was quarrelsome and that he had lost patience with her and killed her. Police said they had taken the body to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
