Trail of violence: Two killed, two injured in Bannu
An FIR has been registered and investigation has started
BANNU:
Two people were killed while two others were injured in separate incidents across Bannu on Saturday. A Frontier Constabulary (FC) official committed suicide within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station. According to the police, Muhammad Karim of FC 116 platoon hanged himself to death. The police found his body and shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu for an autopsy. An FIR was registered and investigation is under way. Meanwhile, a man was killed over old enmity near Mandan police station in Bannu. According to the police, Amjad and Umar Khan killed Mumtaz and fled the site. Separately, two people were injured over a dispute in Gandali Sheikhan on the same day. The police said Samiullah opened fire on Noor Afazal and Akhtar Ali after an argument. The injured were rushed to DHQ Hospital. An FIR has been registered and investigation has started.
