KARACHI: The Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) held a convention for its workers at the party’s secretariat on Friday night, in which members were informed about the party’s future course of action.

Kamal brushed aside the allegations that were levelled against the PSP regarding qawwal Amjad Sabri’s assassination and said that those who had tried to criminalise the party have failed in their propaganda.

The former Karachi mayor urged party workers to peacefully spread the PSP’s message. During the convention, audio speeches, allegedly of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief, were also played. Kamal claimed that these recordings were of June 11 and accused the speaker of inciting his workers to kill in these recordings.

Calling Karachi the jugular vein of Pakistan, Kamal said that an operation was necessary to remove the tumour that was harming Karachi.
