Green Signal: Seven development projects approved

The projects pertain to various sectors, including local government, infrastructure and water

PESHAWAR:  

At least seven development projects were approved at a meeting of Provincial Development Working Party held on Friday. This was stated in a handout. The meeting was chaired by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan, where the cost of projects approved was estimated to be Rs122.84 billion. The projects pertain to various sectors, including local government, infrastructure and water. In the relief sector, the establishment of Rescue 1122 in Nowshera district was approved. In the local government sector, a special initiative for PK-30, Mardan and acquisition of land for graveyard in Nowshera was approved. Moreover, projects related to Chashma Right Bank Canal and the construction of Pehur High Level Canal Extension in Swabi was also approved for the water sector. In the health sector, a project was approved for phase two of Social Health Protection Initiative in the province.
