Pakistani cricketer turned commentator Ramiz Raja found himself in a tiff with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters after the 53-year-old commented on one of the party’s recent moves.
Ramiz on Wednesday tweeted: “The response of PTI on Mufti Qawi is clearly on a non-issue. [I] Am getting increasingly disillusioned by PTI for its defensive right wing tilt.”

Ramiz was referring to the incident where Imran Khan-led PTI suspended Mufti Abdul Qawi’s party membership after his controversial selfies and videos with model Qandeel Baloch emerged on social media.
“PTI has suspended basic membership of Mufti Abdul Qawi,” a statement issued by the party’s media cell had said on Wednesday.
While some of Ramiz’s followers started criticising the cleric for his act, one of the followers disapproved of Ramiz posting such a statement by labelling his tweet ‘callous and ill-timed comment’.

Still recovering from Ramiz's reply, the PTI supporter tried to make a comeback and suggested the commentator stick to his job. You guessed it, it didn't go down too well either.
