Cheema briefed the ambassador about the recent initiatives taken by the NAVTTC to introduce reforms in the current technical vocational education and training (TVET) system of Pakistan.

The executive director emphasised that the growing population of youth was the most valuable asset of Pakistan, and there was a dire need to polish their skills in various vocational fields so that they contributed towards the sustainable development of the country.
He urged that the two countries enhanced their collaboration, to reboot the TVET system in Pakistan.
Vocational training: China’s TUTE extends cooperation
The ambassador praised the steps taken by the NAVTTC and explained how Turkey had excelled in the field of construction and hospitality, and had earned worldwide recognition in those trades.
