KARACHI:
Following the attack on Qawwal Amjad Sabri and the abduction of Sindh High Court Chief Justice’s son, the paramilitary Rangers have announced strict indiscriminate action against all terrorists and militant wings involved.

While the Rangers are busy in Karachi operation, the force sees the need of greater efforts to control the law and order in the port city. In a high-level meeting at the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi on Wednesday evening, the recent law and order situation in the city was reviewed.

According to a Sindh Rangers spokesperson, Director General  Rangers Major-General Bilal Akbar and other senior commanders decided to undertake comprehensive investigations into the recent incidents of terrorism and target killings in the city.

During that meeting, it was resolved that strict and indiscriminate action will be taken against terrorist and militant wings [of political parties] involved in the incidents,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
