Bilawal says Nawaz running country like a monarchy
Bilawal says, Sharif dynasty does not want institutions to be strengthened, it is interfering in every organisation
BHIMBER:
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday accused the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of running the country like a monarch.
“Sharif Dynasty does not want the institutions to be strengthened. The government is interfering in every organisation. This so called elected and democratic government is ruling like monarchs,” Bilawal said, while addressing a PPP rally in connection with the upcoming general election in the AJK.
Bilawal urges PM to step down for transparent Panama Papers probe
He said Nawaz Sharif disregarded the Charter of Democracy and if it had been followed, the country would have been in a much better state. “The country needed a Benazir for the premiership who could confront the world and tell them that the nation wants a peaceful Pakistan,” he added.
He said there were few personalities in the human history like Benazir Bhutto who became a symbol of struggle against dictatorship. “She turned the impossible into possible. I have a firm belief that people cannot forget Shaheed Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir,” he added.
Nisar failed in his plan to become prime minister, says Bilawal
Questioning utility of the prime minister, Bilawal said if the country could be run without a prime minister for a whole month then what was the need of such a prime minister.
