ISLAMABAD: Ayyan Ali has alleged that interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is obstructing her fundamental rights of liberty, property and freedom.

In response to the petition submitted by the ministry to Sindh High Court, Ayyan’s counsel Sardar Latif Khosa submitted a reply on Monday. The reply further states, “Successive and unabated illegal attempts to harass Ayyan Ali leaves no room for doubt that the hideous hands are too powerful for the officials who sheepishly danced to the tunes of their masters”

Ayyan believes that the case portrays a classic example of fraud and deception played upon the highest courts of the country. She contends that if the superior court orders are not implemented the rule of law of the country stays annihilated.

“A young individual carrying the flag of showbiz, projecting the soft image of Pakistan, is constantly made to run from pillar to post seeking the enforcement of her fundamental rights. Although the courts have granted the verdicts in her favour, the judicial orders have been rubbished and the respondent (interior secretary) has overturned such orders,” says the reply.

She has also objected the placement of her name on the ECL for the third time over her alleged involvement in the murder of investigating Officer Ijaz Mehmood. The reply submitted says that, “The tell-tale story is false as Ayyan Ali was in jail under the heaviest surveillance when Ijaz Mahmood was assaulted.” The reply states that Ayyan’s name is based on total perversity.

aqk | 7 years ago | Reply Chaudhry Nisar should be held in contempt and sentenced the same way Gilani was and then deseated. This man is an egomaniac and is not good for Pakistan. The sooner he is taken down from power the better. He is weaving a web for himself. What goes round comes round and he will not find many sympathizers at that time.
Farhan | 7 years ago | Reply @Irfan: Again, do you have proof or ar are you talking from media reports that ayyan had him killed? Proove is important or maybe one day you'll be killed by police and they'll say you were a robber. Our courts are messy and police not interested in conducting any investigation that could stand up in court. All just a drama!
