Local government representatives have threatened to resign from their seats after Eidul Fitr if the government does not address their grievances. Speaking at a news conference in Yar Hussain, Swabi on Monday, Muhammad Kamal, a councillor, said the local government system has been mismanaged under the supervision of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak. “If the provincial government does not address our grievances, we will resign after Eid,” he said.
