Real Madrid star finds time for supporter despite having a frustrating night against Austria

Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo missed a huge chance to write himself into the European Championship record books on Saturday when his penalty against Austria hit the post.

However, he made a fan who ran onto the pitch happy by taking a selfie with him before the man was dragged away by security guards.

Ronaldo was looking to become the first man to score in four separate Euro finals. But on a frustrating night for the Real Madrid star and Portugal, he hit the woodwork at the Parc des Princes.

Minutes later Ronaldo got the ball in the net but was a long way offside. The game ended goalless and Ronaldo started to walk off clearly frustrated.

But one man managed to get past the security and ran up to Ronaldo. The Portuguese star waited while the man prepared his phone and the security guards also waited.
