Internal, external enemies working against CPEC: Rashid
Information minister says during every tenure of Nawaz Sharif, there were people who created hurdles in his way
BAGH:
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Friday said that while Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is bringing investment worth $46 billion under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), internal and external enemies are creating obstacles.
Speaking at a welcome ceremony in Bagh for leaders and political workers who have recently joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri were starting politics of sit-ins while following the agenda of the country’s enemies. He asked people to foil the politics of sit-ins and agitation.
“During every tenure of Nawaz Sharif, there were people who created hurdles in his way,” he added.
Rashid said Rs50 billion have been allocated for the roads of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. "We will spend this amount in five years and Rs10 billion will be spent every year."
He said the PML-N government will build hospitals in every tehsil and launch projects of electricity, roads, schools, colleges and universities in AJK.
