Traditional medicine: Chinese govt to initiate clinical project at KU

KARACHI: The Peoples Republic of China intends to initiate collaborative research on Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM) with the Dr Panjwani Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD).

Chinese government officials visited University of Karachi’s International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) on Tuesday where they had a meeting with ICCBS director Prof Dr Iqbal Choudhary.

An 11-member Chinese delegation called on Dr Choudhary and former chairperson of the Higher Education Commission, Prof Dr Attaur Rahman, where they discussed the TCM clinical collaboration project.
