While some fans have taken it too far by resorting to hooliganism during and after matches of Euro 2016, everyone seems to have football fever. Even Facebook is catching up, seeing as it updated its Messenger app for iOS and Android. In the latest update, hidden in the app is an addictive little football game.

To play the game, you first have to install the latest update. After that, all you need is to start a conversation with someone and send them the football emoji. After the message is sent, tap on the ball to start the game.

It might sound really easy but believe us it’s not. After tapping the ball 10 times successfully, the game starts throwing in obstacles to make it further difficult.

This is not the first time Facebook has installed a hidden game inside its Messenger app. Previously, an arcade-style basketball game was revealed in March this year, where you had to try to get a basketball inside a hoop.

Before that in February, Facebook revealed the existence of a full chess game inside its messenger. To challenge a friend for a game of chess, you simply had to type "@fbchess play" into a chat to bring up the chess board. Whichever person starts the game will be designated White and can make the first move.
