Fawad to replace Hrithik in Zoya Akhtar's next?

"Fawad totally fits the bill"

Fawad Khan has become one of Bollywood's most coveted actors with bigwigs waiting for their turn to rope in the superstar.

Rumours are abuzz that the Khoobsurat actor has replaced Hrithik Roshan in Zoya Akhtar's next directorial venture.

“Zoya has briefed Fawad about the basic premise of the film and the two will meet soon and take their discussion forward,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

“She loved Fawad in Kapoor & Sons and decided to work with him right after watching the film. However, she never had him in mind while writing this film. When Hrithik said no, she was in need for a dashing hero who could also act well. Fawad totally fit the bill,” the source added.

However, Hrithik has denied the report saying, "I can never say no to Zoya. She has not offered me any film recently. But I am sure we’ll be working together soon again," Pinkvilla reported.

While, Fawad who's now among the A-listers of Bollywood revealed that he doesn't believe in competition.

He says he doesn't keep a check on what his contemporaries are doing but if he hears about a good film, he watches it, reports Times of India.



Fawad added that he is in competition with himself and he intends to better his own skills.
