An additional district and sessions’ judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Sabzazar SHO in a petition seeking directions for registration of an FIR against a policeman on sexual assault charges.
Petitioner Halima bibi submitted that a sub inspector at Sabzazar had attempted to sexually assault her.
She said she had visited the police station to get her two nephews released from police custody.
She said that on May 25 Sabzazar SHO, SI Safdar and three constables had forcibly taken away her two nephews and held them in illegal custody. She asked the court to take action against the men.
