SWABI: A tunnel at Tarbela Powerhouse has been malfunctioning for some time. WAPDA Chairperson Zafar Mahmood asked engineers to fix the problem as soon as possible.
This was stated in a press release issued on Tuesday. It also stated the fault in Tarbela Powerhouse increased the electricity shortfall by more than 200 megawatts. Various engineers and technical staff worked to resolve the matter and production was expected to start shortly.
