FAISALABAD: Positive improvements in infrastructure and governance is imperative to transform the strategic Chinese partnership into economic partnership and to achieve this objective Faisalabad needs to play its pro-active role, said Faisalabad Divisional Commissioner Momin Ali Agha. He said that despite making progress, a negative narrative was promoting everything that is wrong in Pakistan, which is against the spirit of prosperity. Pakistan got many opportunities for a major breakthrough but it failed to cash these due to some unavoidable circumstances, said Agha. “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has provided an opportunity to bring positive change in our infrastructure and perception.” Agha applauded the efforts of the Faisalabad business community who made the small agro industrial town into a hub of economic activity. He said that his approach to work was to resolve the issues on permanent basis instead of working on adhoc solutions.
