Workers’ rights: Larkana clerks continue protest
APCA general secretary Sabir Soomro warned that a province-wide lockdown of offices will be observed
LARKANA:
All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA), Larkana district, continued their protest demonstration against the government for failing to upgrade their posts and and offering time-scale promotions. They held their protest at Jinnah Bagh roundabout on Tuesday. Irfan Siyal, Sher Khan Shaikh, Zahid Mangnejo, Abdul Rahim Areejo and others also observed a token hunger strike. APCA general secretary Sabir Soomro warned that if their demands are not accepted immediately, they will burn the effigy of the Sindh chief minister on June 16. He warned that a province-wide lockdown of offices will be observed.
