SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has taken notice of the death of a six-month-old boy in Larkana, who drowned in a bathtub in his house situated in Noor Colony with the limits of the Sachal police station on Sunday.

The six-month-old son of police constable Altaf Hussain Jagirani was found dead in a bathtub in his house on Sunday night. Police officials said the boy's father claims that somebody entered his house and threw the six-month-old boy into the bathtub and fled.

Larkana headquarters SP Tauqeer Naeem told The Express Tribune that during initial investigations, no clue about any outsider entering into the house was found. Moreover, he said, a six-month-old baby cannot walk and go to the bathroom by himself and fall into the bathtub. He said the case is shrouded in the mystery and needs thorough investigation, which is being done and the media will be told about the outcome.
