A man was shot dead and his brother injured over a property dispute in the Banni area of Rawalpindi on Saturday.
Ishtiaq lodged a complaint with the local police that Hanif turned up at their property and opened fire at his brothers, Saddam Hussain and Chanwaiz Hussain, leaving them injured seriously.
They were taken to the hospital where Saddam was pronounced dead and Waiz is stated to be in critical condition. The police have registered a case.
Meanwhile, a woman was stabbed and injured within the Waris Khan Police jurisdiction on Saturday.
Maryam Ikram lodged a complaint with the local police that her brothers-in-law, Raheel and Habib, showed up at her house while she was alone and stabbed her with a dagger over a family dispute.
The police have registered a case against them and started investigation.
