
In a meeting held at the polio emergency centre it was decided that the campaign will continue till July 21.
During the campaign, 2.2 million children under five years old will be given polio drops. More than 6,000 teams will participate in the campaign.
According to the statement, the commissioner has said that security measures will be taken. Khan has ordered all relevant departments to work together in making sure that the plan is effectively implemented. He said that the future of the children of the nation is linked to the polio campaign. He also appealed to parents to get polio vaccines administered to their children for the sake of their children’s future. For those children who have already taken the polio vaccine, he asked them to get it re-administered.
