Domestic dispute Man stabs wife, two relatives

According to the police, the suspect is employed as a janitor for the Pakistan Rangers

KARACHI: Police arrested on Thursday a man who allegedly stabbed his wife and two other relatives during a domestic dispute in a shanty town in Azizabad. Two of the victims are in critical condition.

The incident occurred in Christian Para in vicinity of Bhangoria Goth at around 2am on early Thursday morning, said Azizabad police station SHO Jamal Khan Leghari while speaking to The Express Tribune.

The suspect, Adil Bashir, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his wife, identified as Sara, multiple times in the head and neck, said SHO Leghari, adding that when Bashir's uncle, Ilyas Masih, and aunt, Amber, came to the woman's rescue Bashir also attacked them.

Masih is out-of-danger while the two women are in critical condition, informed the police officer, adding that the suspect stabbed them very hard.

According to the police, the suspect is employed as a janitor for the Pakistan Rangers.
