Tragic: Woman shot dead

A 35-year-old woman was shot dead at her house within the Saddar police jurisdiction on Wednesday.  Rashid Jamal lodged a complaint with the local police that armed assailants who have yet to be identified showed up at his house while his wife, Rehana, was alone and shot her dead.  Rashid in his application further said that he was in his office when a neighbour informed him on the telephone about the murder of his wife and when he reached home, found her dead in the pool of blood.  Following the incident, the local police shifted the body to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a blind murder case and searching for the arrests of alleged murderers.
