LAHORE: Lahore High Court on Wednesday allowed a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf lawyer to place details of four Mayfair Flats allegedly owned by Maryam Nawaz Sharif, daughter of the prime minister, on record, with the petitions filed moved in the wake of Panama Papers Leaks.

Advocate Gohar Nawaz Sindhu told the court that the prime minister’s daughter had set up two offshore companies and had purchased flats in Mayfair area of London.

The lawyer said documents obtained from British property registration authorities confirmed ownership of Flats 16, 16-A, 17 and 17-A under Maryam’s name. He sought the court’s permission to place details of Maryam’s flats on the record.

Justice Shahid Waheed allowed him to do so and adjourned hearing for two weeks.

Advocate Sindhu and others have filed the petitions, requesting proceedings against Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for his alleged involvement in offshore companies and tax evasion.

sterry | 8 years ago | Reply @Singh: The difference here is that a rich father is finally improving Pakistan's economy which is scaring some people there. Finches, Standard and Poors, Moodys and international economists are finally optimistic on Pakistan's economy and CPEC. What better way to stop the stability than to create an issue out of nothing.
