Sibi-khost: Pakistan Railways restores track section
The section consisted of eight railway stations in the area and has a length of around 133 kilometres

The Pakistan Railways (PR) will restore the Sibi-Khost section at a cost of approximately Rs2 billion within a time period of 18 months. Work on the project has already been initiated and will be restored with support of the National Logistic Cell (NLC), said officials in the Ministry of Railways. Sibi, Harnai, Khost section of the PR had been destroyed by extremists due to which a large number of people were deprived of the only suitable way of transportation. In this regard, PR made a payment of Rs130 million, through a cheque to NLC, as first instalment of the contract, officials added. Transportation at Sibi-Khost section had been suspended for the last 10 years, which had created panic among the public of the areas. The section consisted of eight railway stations in the area and has a length of around 133 kilometres.
