Visiting District: Lora to be made subdivision, says CM

Khattak also announced to give a government job to brother of the girl who was burnt on the order of a jirga

Lora, a union council of Abbottabad, will be made a subdivision of the district, while Rescue 1122 services will be started in Galiyat. This was said by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at a public meeting in Harno Bazaar, Abbottabad on Saturday. While addressing the public, Khattak also said the provincial government will empower the local government representative within the next 15 days. While addressing the public, he said the police department would be under the district government. About doctors, he said their salaries would be increased from Rs100,000 per month to Rs150,000. Moreover, he said 40,000 teachers have been hired while 20,000 more would be taken on board to fill vacant posts in schools. He also urged locals to grow more trees.  On the occasion, Khattak also announced to give a government job to brother of the girl who was burnt on the order of a jirga in Abbottabad.
