DI KHAN: The DI Khan police have finalised security arrangements for Ramazan.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, DI Khan DPO Yasir Afridi said the district will be divided into six sectors as part of the plan.
According to the DPO, special checkpoints will be established to avoid any untoward incidents. “Personnel of the Quick Response Force will be deployed to deal with any emergencies,” he said. “They will be deployed in various areas, including Tank Adda, Haibat Shaheed Chowk and New Bannu Chungi.”
Afridi added security personnel will also be deployed at mosques and imambargahs during prayers. “[Security personnel] will especially be deployed during taraweeh,” he added. According to Afridi, security personnel clad in uniforms will perform their duty in various markets of the district.
