PESHAWAR: The political administration of North Waziristan has suspended services of six political moharrars who were allegedly involved in anti-state activities in the agency, stated a report submitted to the FATA Secretariat on Tuesday.

“The political administration suspends the services of six political moharrars to the office of Bannu Commissioner with a request for an enquiry against them.

It was reported by law-enforcement agencies that moharrars were involved in anti-state activities which might create problems
for locals in future,” the report read.

It revealed some political moharrars indulged in illegal activities in the agency, embezzled funds and food items, and challenged the government, creating unrest among the masses.

In addition, the suspended individuals are also to blame for sparking mutiny; instigating others to create a parallel mafia against the administration, undermining the efforts of the state and defaming the political administration.
