Capacity building: Workshop on procurement rules this week

Wildlife and Parks Department director general Khalid Ayaz Khan said on Sunday that the department would arrange a one-day training workshop for its officials on the Punjab Procurement Regularity Authority’s (PPRA) rules and regulations this week. He was speaking at a meeting at the committee room of his office. Khan said the training would be held at the Lahore Zoo and would be attended by officials of the rank of deputy director from across the province. He said he hoped the workshop would equip the officials with skills needed to develop a sound understanding of financial affairs and monitor use of funds for transparency. He asked the headquarters deputy director to send a circular to the officials to ensure their participation in the workshop.
