According to a notification issued on Saturday, Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel removed Lower Dir civil judge-cum-judicial magistrate Naimatullah.
As per the document, he was asked to explain why his career had been consistently tainted by misconduct.
“A show-cause notice was issued to the officer,” stated the document. “As credible evidence of misconduct on his part, an enquiry was ordered against him.”
The document added, “However, [Naimatullah] failed to file a satisfactory reply. [As a result], he was removed from service as a penalty.”
The notification stated, “The competent authority proceeded against him under Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2011.”
It added, “The activities of the accused judicial officer constitute [the grossest form] of misconduct.
