Gruesome: Three bodies found in DI Khan

DI KHAN: Three bodies were found from separate areas of DI Khan on Thursday.

In the first incident, the police found the remains of two women from a house in Iqbal Town in DI Khan within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station. According to a police official, the women had been shot dead. Their bodies were sent to District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital, DI Khan for post-mortem.

The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. According to the police, the deceased appear to be mother and daughter. The motive behind the killing remains unknown. However, the police believe they had been robbed.

“The actual reason will emerge once the investigation is completed,” an official told The Express Tribune.

Separately, a body was found in Kotli Imam area of DI Khan city.

According to locals who discovered the body, the deceased lived in a small cottage he had constructed in the area. He had died at least two days ago but no one had paid attention to the matter. Locals performed his last rites on Thursday.
