Freight train : Two bogies run off track in Hyderabad
The track will be reopened after clearance from the technical staff
HYDERABAD:
Two bogies of a Lahore-bound freight train derailed on main railway track at Latifabad Unit 7 near Hyderabad Railway Station on Wednesday morning. According to railway sources, the freight train was coming from Karachi when its two bogies derailed between Pathan Goth and Khaskheli Muhalla, although no casualties were reported. Railway traffic has been suspended while the track was under examination. The track will be reopened after clearance from the technical staff, the sources said. Initial investigation revealed that the accident might have occurred due to fault in signal or curve in the track.
