According to an official of the Lok Virsa, students of various educational institutes have been invited to participate in the contest, adding that some schools and colleges have already registered for the contest.
He said that an audio CD of “Dholak Geet” will also be launched on the occasion.
The official said that the Lok Virsa would make efforts to revive the use of dholak in traditional celebrations.
