Injury woes: Kaleemullah out for a week

KARACHI:
Pakistan and Tulsa Roughneck forward Kaleemullah picked up an injury while playing against Saint Louis FC during their United Soccer League match yesterday, with the club announcing that he could be out for at least a week.

Kaleemullah, who signed for Roughnecks in December last year, injured his ankle during the second half with the score 2-2 — the team went on to lose 5-2 after his substitution.

The doctors have advised Kaleemullah to rest for at least a week after which they will assess his situation before he would be allowed to return to the field.


Roughnecks are currently 14th in the USL Western Conference standings and are only one point ahead of bottom-placed Seattle Sounders FC 2, who have a game in hand.
