Transferred: Enquiry begins in Ziaullah Toru’s case

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has initiated an enquiry against the former director general of K-P Anti-Corruption Establishment, Ziaullah Khan Toru, for harassing and illegally taking money from the government. The K-P government has started collecting evidences and complaints against Toru in which he is accused of harassing government officials and contractors along with illegally taking money from them. Toru was recently transferred from the slot of Anti-Corruption DG after he got controversial for conducting enquiries in the Billion Tree Tsunami project and raiding the nursery owned by a brother of the K-P chief secretary. Toru was replaced by Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Riaz Mehsud.
