PM pays tribute to Syedna Burhanuddin

PM Gilani addresses Bohra community on upcoming 100th birth anniversary of their spiritual leader.

KARACHI: “The war against terrorism can be won with public support,” said Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Friday addressing the Bohra community on the upcoming 100th birth anniversary of their spiritual leader Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin.

Gilani paid his respects and cut the cake in honour of his birthday.

Before the address, Gilani inaugurated the Burhani Trade Expo and visited the different stalls at the exhibition.

Karachi is the economic and commercial hub of the country and its development has an impact on the whole country’s progress, said the premier. People of Karachi have helped improve the image of metropolis, he added. Not only will this trade expo improve relations between businessmen and traders but it will also facilitate trade activities in other business cetnres all across Pakistan, added the prime minister. This would also help to generate employment, he said.
