He said that Gwadar port would prove to be shipping hub due to its proximity with strait of Hormuz which would give a short access to western China, Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics (CARs).
Gwadar Port Authority Chairman Dostain Jamaldini briefing the minister said that 18.9km-long East Bay Way would be completed by 2018 at a cost of Rs14,016 million under CPEC project. This expressway would be used to move cargo shipment on the port.
China irked by delay in Gwadar project
Jamaldini said the Gwadar Business Complex would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs2.18 billion. The complex will feature banks, offices, container yards, cafeteria, seamen centres.
