ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) sought confessional statements of mumbai attacker Ajmal Kasab both in Hindi and English by May 11.

The petition requested that Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, a mumbai attack suspect should not be tried on the basis of Kasab's statement.

Advocate Khawaja Sultan filed the petition.

In the hearing on Wednesday, the court asked the petitioner to produce the statement before the court.

However, the petitioner was reluctant to do so.
