Another victim: Polio case surfaces in Bannu
The child was administered only a single dose of the oral polio vaccine

The fifth polio case of the province in 2016 was reported in Bannu on Thursday. This makes it two cases from the district, along with one each from Peshawar, Nowshera and Hangu. The total number of cases from the country has now risen to 10. These include four from Sindh and one from Balochistan. The latest case was reported as that of Sohaima, 12, who is the daughter of Rafilullah. She is a resident of Kotka Mohammad Khan Faiz Talib village of Khwajamad district. The child was administered only a single dose of the oral polio vaccine.
